Staff AccountantRobert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the construction industry to find a staff accountant. This is a full time, permanent position in DTC. It is 100% in office, and is paying $60-75k + bonus.
Additional information and job requirements are below.The staff accountant will be responsible for:Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payrollPrepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reportingAssist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparationAssist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls under SOX and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAPMaintain capital lease and monthly payment schedulesMaintain fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliationIn-depth experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliationsPerform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervisionRecurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliationIntercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliationAnalyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable mannerParticipate in various department-wide initiativesAd-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested
