What You'll Be Doing as a Staff Accountant

• Support general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
• Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reports
• Assist with accounting activities related to investments and other financial assets
• Review financial transactions and investigate discrepancies
• Support audit preparation, financial documentation, and internal controls
• Collaborate with senior accounting leadership on reporting and special projects
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies

What You Bring as a Staff Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 2+ years of public accounting experience required
• Audit backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply!
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and general ledger accounting
• Solid Excel skills and ability to learn new accounting systems
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Professional, collaborative personality with a desire to learn and grow
• Interest in transitioning into private industry and building a long-term accounting career

Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000

Schedule: Hybrid, standard 40-hour workweek
