Staff Accountant – COAM OperationsAccounting professionals with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience.Perform professional accounting duties including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and support of monthly close processes.Full-time position supporting ongoing financial operations.Atlanta, GASupport financial integrity and reporting accuracy within a highly regulated and structured financial environment while gaining exposure to operational accounting processes.Competitive and commensurate with experience (details provided during interview process).Purpose of the JobPerform professional accounting activities supporting business operations.

Responsibilities include preparing spreadsheets, auditing accounts, posting journal entries, and assisting finance leadership with assigned accounting tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and balance general ledger integration files (licensing, daily activity, etc.)Prepare and maintain accounting and financial reports (AR, AP, revenue, expenses)Maintain records for miscellaneous depositsProcess licensing refunds and voidsPrepare and post monthly journal entries into the automated accounting systemResearch and resolve moderate accounting discrepanciesAssist with monthly financial close and preparation of schedulesTrack, monitor, and reconcile general ledger accountsSupport accounting system implementations or conversions as neededRespond to internal inquiries and provide financial information as requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredMinimum 1 year accounting or bookkeeping experienceBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations preferredExperience with automated accounting systems preferredBenefits401(k) matchingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offParental leaveFlexible scheduleTuition assistanceTraining & developmentEmployee discountsWellness resources
