We’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive accounting professional to help power the financial engine behind Sally’s operations. As our Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day financial activity, supporting month-end closings, and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple entities. This role requires precision, ownership, and the drive to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.

What you’ll do

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare Monthly Revenue Entries and perform reconciliation for four entities.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting, including tracking additions, disposals, and calculating depreciation.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain our Intercompany transactions and respective schedules for each consolidating entity
• Assist with data entry and maintenance in the NetSuite accounting system
• Support the accounting team with various ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Maintain Lease Accounting Schedules for multiple real estate leases
• Review accounting statements (P&L and balance sheets) and assist with month-end and quarter-end variance analysis as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation for financial transactions and support audit requirements.
• Assist in the audit process & procedures for external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency.

What we look for

• Three plus years of accounting experience preferred.
• Must possess strong knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Familiarity with financial statements, general ledger entries, accruals, and reconciliations required.
• Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus.
• Strong Google Sheet skills required, including use of pivot tables and X Lookup functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and act with urgency.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Compensation range: $65k-$80k
