Addison Group has partnered with a rapidly growing, multi-billion-dollar global company to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join a growing accounting team with strong visibility across the organization and exposure to both day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.
We’re looking for an accounting professional who will support the month-end close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and work closely with the financial reporting team on quarterly financial statements.
Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid schedule – in office 3x/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and roll-forward schedules
- Assist with prepaid and other general ledger accounting activities
- Partner with the financial reporting team to review quarterly financial statements
- Perform account analysis and research variances as needed
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Assist with process improvements and other accounting-related projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team

Compensation & Benefits:
- $80K–$88K base salary + 15% bonus
