A growing, multi‑entity organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and strengthen financial reporting. This Staff Accountant role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of routine accounting work, problem‑solving, and partnering with a collaborative finance team.
What You’ll Do
- The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month‑end close
- Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
- Support AP/AR, billing, and cash‑management activities
- Review transactions for proper coding, documentation, and compliance
- Assist with audits, tax packages, and external reporting
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel and modern accounting/ERP systems
- Detail‑oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently xhqgsiq and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
- Experience in a multi‑entity or project‑based environment
- Exposure to month‑end close processes
- Public accounting experience or CPA track
