You will be responsible for ensuring monthly accounting entries are complete, accurate, and in compliance with GAAP.

Ensure all entries are supported by appropriate documentation and comply with U.S. GAAPAnalyze account activity to identify and resolve variances or unusual itemsPrepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and other assigned GL accounts.
Ensure reconciliations are accurate, complete, and supported by appropriate detailPrepare and support revenue recognition activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including analyzing underlying transactions, recording related journal entries, and reconciling deferred revenue and revenue accounts to ensure accuracy and proper period recognitionPerform fluctuation analysis on key balance sheet and P&L accounts. Support internal reporting and variance explanations during the close processWork within the accounting team to standardize practices and proceduresInteract cross functionally to gather all relevant financial data to ensure timely and accurate monthly reportingAssist with preparation for and facilitation of the audit processRequirements:3-5 years of accounting or finance experienceIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teamsDemonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to think criticallyStrong attention to detail, organizational ability, and a history of meeting deadlinesBachelor's degree in AccountingTotal Rewards: The base salary range for this role is $80,000 – $92,000 annually for employees based in Boston, MA.
Final compensation may vary and will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location.
