Accounting ProfessionalUnder the supervision of the Controller, we are looking for an accounting professional with interest in general accounting functions (A/R, A/P, Inventory review/audit) cost and manufacturing. Proven analytical and communication skills. Works independently as well as in a team setting, will communicate with various departments within the company.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assist in multiple phases of corporate accounting including but not limited to AP, AR, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepaids, and closing processAssist with reconciling and preparing journal entries for month end and year end processAssist on the accounts receivable side with customer inquiriesHelp maintain balance sheet, P&L, and departmental supportAssist with inventory reconciliation, investigate and resolve discrepanciesAnalyze perpetual inventory locations for accuracy and valuation through performing cycle count auditsIdentifies improvements for internal processes and controlsAssist with preparation of schedules for mid-year and year end auditsAd hoc analyses and projects, as neededUnderstanding of ERP manufacturing systemAdvanced Microsoft Office skills strong in Excel.Excellent communication, strong analytical, problem solving, and computer skills required.Ability to interface with members of other departments and corporate staff.This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate both verbally and in writing, in English.
