What You'll Do:
As a Staff Accountant , you will play an important role in supporting the company's day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers exposure to a broad range of accounting functions and is ideal for someone looking to build their career in accounting.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Review transactions and investigate discrepancies or unusual variances
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed
- Support the preparation of financial statements, schedules, and management reports
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis
- Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits
- Ensure accounting activities are completed in accordance with company policies and GAAP
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting questions and issues
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of accounting experience; internships and entry-level experience will be considered
