This position contributes to our success by: reconciling accounts such as cash, fixed assets, prepaid assets, accounts receivable, preparing month-end journal entries, managing company credit cards and supporting other accounting functions as needed for multiple subsidiaries.Job Responsibilities:Reconcile bank and company credit card accountsReview expense reports and ensure correct codingAnalyze GL accounts to verify accuracy of data, and report, identify, and correct errorsAnalyze account balance trends to identify potential errors and unusual activitySupport timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accountsSupport external auditsApplies Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to accounting transactionsAnalyzes information by developing spreadsheet reportsJob Skills & QualificationsGeneral:Professional positive attitude, vision, understanding of customer service principals, trustworthiness, and excellent interpersonal skills to successfully accomplish tasks necessary to meet high standards of ethical and social responsibility required by this position. A service-oriented person and team player who will roll up their sleeves, not be afraid to get into the detail, and take on any task with a great attitude to help with the success of the team.Required:Thorough knowledge of basic accounting proceduresExcellent data entry skillsAttention to detail and thoroughnessAbility to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficientlyStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsFamiliar with computerized accounting software applications, spreadsheets and word processing.
