Stacker / PackerThis role supports production operations by safely loading and unloading large rolls of coatings, preparing pallets, and assisting machine and forklift operators. You will work on the production floor to ensure materials move efficiently, products are properly secured, and pallets are built and wrapped to meet quality and safety standards.Openings on 1st and 2nd shifts 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm. Both $18.20/hr and will receive shift differential after 90 days. Can start within a week of interviewingResponsibilitiesLoad and unload large rolls of coatings to support machine operators and maintain steady production flow.Prepare and set up pallets for incoming and outgoing materials, including building pallets and ensuring they are ready for use.Use a nail gun when needed to assemble or reinforce pallets in a safe and controlled manner.Roll and load new rolls onto pallets and unload used rolls, helping to roll them onto other pallets as required.Wrap and secure rolls using wrapping materials and wires to ensure they remain stable and protected during storage and transport.Direct and communicate with forklift operators to guide safe and accurate placement and movement of pallets and rolls.Assist with general production duties such as stacking, packing, loading, unloading, palletizing, and pallet building.Operate or assist with pallet jacks and other basic material handling tools as needed.Support basic inventory and pallet tracking activities to help maintain organized and accurate material flow.Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), and help maintain a clean and orderly work area.Essential SkillsExperience in general production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments, including tasks such as stacking, loading, packing, unloading, and palletizing.Ability to prepare, build, and set up pallets safely, including the use of a nail gun when required.Comfort working on your feet for the entire shift in a fast-paced production setting.Physical capability to roll and maneuver heavy materials and perform occasional lifting as needed.Familiarity with using pallet jacks and basic material handling equipment.Ability to communicate clearly with forklift operators and team members to coordinate safe material movement.Consistent adherence to safety procedures and proper use of PPE, including steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in general labor, loading, unloading, pallet building, or wrapping in a production or warehouse environment.Comfort working with large rolls or similar heavy, rollable materials.Basic understanding of inventory and pallet management processes.Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures and production guidelines.Reliability and strong work ethic, with the ability to contribute to team-based production goals.Why Work Here?The company offers a supportive, team-oriented environment with tangible rewards for strong performance. You will spend most of your shift on your feet in an active, hands-on environment that involves moving large rolls and working around material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. The position requires the use of personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves; safety glasses, ear buds, and gloves are provided on-site. The setting emphasizes safe material handling, teamwork, and steady production activity.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.20 - $18.20/hr.
