This position requires extreme attention to details and a thorough knowledge of the work procedures and component applications. This person will be responsible for producing high quality component welds on stacked stator cores. Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
