Site Reliability Engineer
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team responsible for building, managing, maintaining and scaling operational infrastructure on which our mission-critical services are deployed or depend. We prize engineering professionals who are equipped with great technical skills and attitudes that motivate those around them. Responsibilities:
Help with patching distributed systems, writing CI-CD workflows for variety of tasks and helping with automations.
Skills required:
- 5+ years’ experience with production systems and system operations
- Strong Ansible, Terraform and Linux skills
- Automating skills using Shell and/or Python
- Experience with using Jenkins
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Basic knowledge of API
- Has hands-on experience using source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies
- Deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices
- Has experience with a variety of open-source databases (MySQL, Postgres)
