We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support an internal, VMware-based cloud environment. This role combines ongoing production support with engineering, scripting, and automation to maintain reliable cloud services.

A key responsibility is providing operational and production support for Terraform as an application. Prior Terraform experience is preferred but is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Support internal cloud services throughout their lifecycle, from design and deployment through ongoing operation and support.

• Provide day-to-day production support for the Terraform application.

• Monitor service availability, latency, and overall system health.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting Unix/Linux platforms and cloud services.

• Develop and maintain scripts and automation using Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible.

• Use Jira and Bitbucket to support engineering workflows, issue tracking, and source control.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working with Unix/Linux server platforms.

• Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong Python development and scripting skills.

• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Ansible development.

• Experience supporting cloud services throughout their lifecycle.

• Experience with internal or private cloud environments, particularly VMware-based platforms.

• Experience using Jira and Bitbucket.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Software development background, including Java experience.

• Experience with Jenkins or XLR.

• Familiarity with Terraform.
