Sr UX Designer - Rapid ExperimentationLong term contract – 6 months to start, ongoing/rolling 3 month extensionsM-Th in-office; Friday WFH. San Francisco, CA 94133This Rapid Experiment team is unique, in that they are constantly and quickly iterating features on the website, ultimately to see what changes may drive business value and conversion on the website. Rapid Experimentation program is all about identifying friction points in the ecommerce experience (site entry, product page, product finding, search, checkout, etc.) and producing solutions/tests to run to optimize each aspect of the funnel.

This comes down to "rapid UX discovery" (coming up with a point of view on a feature, looking at analytics, competitive audit, research, proof points, session replays, etc.) and turning multiple designs around quickly to test.A candidate for this role must be able to deliver effective interaction design solutions in a fast-paced environment, have strong presentation and communication skills, with thick skin, able to iterate and move on as needed or if a test / design fails. This role is different than a "classic" UX design role, as they do not follow the "normal" process of conducting customer interviews, doing usability testing, etc.Rapid Testing Themes: Design & Presentation Themes: Organization and Resilience5 years of experience in interactive design and user experienceWell-rounded background within the ecommerce domain, experience around site optimization and high transaction websites for features like product lists, product page, checkout, etc.Deep understanding of what drives Ecommerce KPIsPassion for site optimization and experimentationStrong visual and interaction design (using Figma)Ability to rapidly produce multiple design solutions for experimentsComprehensive understanding of UX principles and best practices; able to bring a strong UX POV to the tableStrategic thinker and ability deliver tacticallyProven record of impactful optimization improvementsStrong organizational skills to manage fast-paced schedule and project workAble to contribute to a strategic vision for Ecommerce improvementsExcellent communicator and presenter
