UX/UI Engineer. As a part of the team you will work with stakeholders, developers, and designers to understand the big problems and collaborate on effective solutions. UX Architect will be engaged in every part of the UX process, including user research, information architecture, content strategy, interaction design, user interface design, and visual design.Responsibilities:Identifying user behaviors through contextual research, interviews, focus groups, and facilitationEstablishing the structure of a website or application by designing content layouts and navigationDesigning user flows and human computer interactions.
Create prototypes for new product ideasDeveloping and iterating through low fidelity and high fidelity prototypesDesigning and recommending visual styles and standardsPlan and implement new designsDevelop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutionsDesign, implement, and execute quality frontend applications to interact with SBV APIsUse common frontend frameworks (ie Angular, React) to build new web applications and API portals.Develop UI screens, HTML, CSSParticipate in the design and planning for new tools and systemsParticipate in internal and external demos of new capabilitiesUI/UX design and integration with API platformQualifications:Experience working in an Agile scrum development methodologyWorking knowledge of the following Atlassian products: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket and GithubWorking knowledge of most major frontend frameworks (Angular,React)Working knowledge of ES6, Typescript, and JavascriptWorking knowledge of NodeJS, NPM, Brew, and other CLI based toolsExperience with Content Management systems - DrupalUnderstanding of key principals of API development & knowledge of web app best practicesComfortable with web focused artistic creation; including but not limited to advanced HTML and CSS styling techniques and graphic designFamiliar with basic DevOps best practices and principals for designing and building web apps for deploymentFamiliarity with API portal and REST APIs
