Sr. UI/UX Designer IAs Sr. UI/UX Designer I, you'll support a high-visibility, enterprise AI-enabled financial compliance initiative for the Department of War. This mission-critical program modernizes financial system compliance and audit workflows across more than 180 systems. You will design intuitive, secure, and accessible user experiences that translate complex AI-driven analytics into actionable decision environments for financial leaders and compliance validators. This is a remote role with preference for candidates local to the DMV area who can attend in-person meetings as required. We know that you can't have great technology services without amazing people. Value for our customers.What you'll do:Design user-centered interfaces for AI-enabled compliance dashboards and analytics toolsTranslate complex financial and technical workflows into intuitive, low-friction user experiencesConduct user research, usability testing, and iterative prototyping with government stakeholdersDevelop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes aligned to secure DoW environmentsPartner with Full Stack Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Financial SMEs to ensure cohesive product deliveryAdvocate for clarity, usability, and adoption across highly regulated operational environmentsWhat you'll need to succeed:Active Secret clearance requiredBachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of UI/UX design experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating modern web application designExperience designing data-heavy dashboards, analytics platforms, or compliance systemsProficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similarExperience conducting user testing and applying human-centered design methodologiesFamiliarity designing within secure or regulated environmentsSALARY RANGE: $115,000 - $124,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
