Sr Trial Attorney.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join our clients Tennessee-based litigation team. This is a full-time, exempt opportunity with the flexibility to work in person, hybrid, or fully remote .

We’re looking for an attorney who can independently manage complex civil litigation from inception through resolution while partnering closely with claims professionals and insured clients to achieve strategic, cost-effective outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Independently manage moderate- to high-exposure litigation matters from inception through dismissal, settlement, or trial
• Represent and advise insured clients and claims professionals
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trials, and other legal proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and provide strategic recommendations on case evaluation
• Handle motion practice, legal research, investigation, and case preparation
• Participate in case roundtables and trial-readiness discussions
• May independently conduct trials
• Mentor and support less-experienced attorneys and legal staff

What We’re Looking For

• Active Tennessee Bar admission required
• Georgia Bar admission strongly preferred, but not required
• Strong litigation experience required; trial experience preferred
• Experience with motions, depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other advocacy
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, organization, and decision-making skills
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, understandable language
• Strong legal research and investigative capabilities
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Lexis/Westlaw, email, and calendar systems
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
• Knowledge of property & casualty insurance principles is a plus
• Willingness to stretch into areas such as employment and professional liability matters
