Sr. Technical Designer

Senior Technical DesignerFabletics is currently looking for a Senior Technical Designer. How Do You Fit In?As the Senior Technical Designer for Women's Wovens & Outerwear you will manage all aspects of Technical Design related functions from initial Tech Pack creation to production, facilitating the development of fashion garments from design concept and first prototype to a final, production-ready sample. The Senior Technical Designer attends all fittings and works with Design and vendor partners to create brand right fits and product standards.You will be joining an extremely fast-paced team of creative and energetic individuals working towards significant expansion into various apparel categories.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind who is passionate about fashion and fit and understands the brand aesthetic and price point of our brands.This position will report to the Manager, Technical Design.What You Will Do:Manage all tech design functions for the wovens and outerwear categories relating to creating brand right fitsManage and create a smooth workflow of achieving deadlines resourcefullyAttend all fittings to develop Regular and Plus size apparel - must have technical expertise of body, fit, ease, flat specs, fabric/trimPrep, measure and analyze garments to determine compliance of comments, specs, constructions, and sketchesMust have ability to lead fittings, taking detailed and accurate notes, and communicating directives with clear comments and detailed photos to vendorsPartner closely with Design to execute design vision and fit intentEstablish technical specifications including measurements, grading, construction details and on-body standardsCollaborate with Vendors, Production and PD to meet all calendar deadlines.Build relationships with import and domestic vendorsAssemble tech packs with construction detail sketches, specs, how to measure guides and packaging detailsBuild and maintain technical design data libraries in CentricCreate fit blocks and product standardsExpert knowledge in grade rules and creating size chartsProblem solves, strategic and technicalWhat You Can Bring:Minimum 6+ years previous experience in Technical Design, preferably in wovens and outerwear categoriesExperience with a PLM system and Gerber a plusProven track record of growing businesses, identifying trends and delivering resultsSolid understanding of the marketplace, aspirational and competitive setExceptional knowledge of garment construction, balance and fit, and patternsExcellent eye for fit, construction and detailAbility to create technical drawings and renderingsExcellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentationDemonstrate positive attitude and works well in team atmosphereAbility to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment under pressureIdeal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.Where we are:This role will be based in our El Segundo HeadquartersCompensation & Total Rewards:At Fabletics, we believe work and life should fit together! The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
