The ideal candidate will understand and have experience applying the full systems engineering lifecycle, and must be able to analyze and decompose requirements, create system design documentation, generate, utilize and maintain Cameo models. This position will interface with internal and external project team members, company leadership, and customers. * This is a full-time position with a 9/80 schedule. Additional Responsibilities: Analyzing customer/stakeholder requirements, decomposing requirements, deriving requirements, and allocating requirements to system and subsystem elements in DOORsDeveloping and maintaining risk and opportunity databases.Supporting trade studies and performing design research of engineering concepts and explorations to determine optimal requirements and system architectureDeveloping system/subsystem design documentation such as interface definitions, system schematics, and system description documentsDeveloping and executing system verificationDeveloping MBSE processes, procedures, templates, and best practicesDeveloping, reviewing, and presenting Cameo models to internal and external stakeholdersLeading or supporting system engineering technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)Assisting in preparation of proposals and presentation materialsPerforming peer reviews of fellow team members' workDeveloping and reviewing test plans and reportsSupporting the planning and execution of various kinds of testing including subsystem and system testingPhysical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.Travel Requirements Up to 25% travel likely. Pay Range (USD) $100,300-$135,700 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process. Additional Compensation Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
