Sr. Systems Analyst (E-commerce)DeveloperBoston (South of)RetailJO- The eCommerce business is growing and there is a lot of work to be done! We need someone who is passionate about eCommerce and has the in-depth technical ability to implement and support many of our IT projects.
This role will work closely with business partners, third party vendors and development teams to help drive IT solutions that enable the business to achieve results.The ideal candidate must have a strong eCommerce background, including experience with eCom platforms, preferably Demandware/SFCC. You will become the subject matter expert for the online store functionality, key interfaces, data flows and the overall system architecture of the website consumer experience. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into the configuration and code to understand the process or to resolve a critical issue.
Most importantly, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to work successfully with both developers and business users.Research, identify and develop technical solutions to business challenges and opportunities including documenting user stories and translating end user requirements into detailed specifications for the development team.Understands design fundamentals of UX/UI for features such as navigation, customer account, shopping cart, checkout, product search, promotions and social commerce.Experience in web, mobile and other digital application development in a multi-channel retail environment.Define UAT scenarios aligned with digital solution, performs UAT of technical changes and assist users in UAT.Provide continuous production support for eCommerce storefronts, third party applications, and integration services, working with third party vendors where needed to resolve issues.Identify and drive resolution of system production issues.Minimum Requirements:6-8 years in a Systems Analyst role with experience in eCommerce platforms, preferably Demandware/SFCCStrong working knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, JSON, XML is requiredMust be highly organized, detail-oriented and solution driven. The ability to work independently is a must.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to address a range of technical and non-technical audiencesProven ability to Implement IT solutions through the entire SDLCPreferred Skills and Industry experience:Experience working in an Agile Development environmentBig picture orientation with strong attention to detailAbility to learn quickly and share knowledge in a positive team-oriented mannerDegree in MIS or Computer Science preferred
