System EngineerResponsibilities:Create and maintain scripts that will create cloud infrastructure and configuration of application.Automate IAAS in AWS cloud and/or Microsoft cloud.Support and resolve technical issues with applications on the cloud (AWS preferred).Use your understanding of application architecture with high availability and scaling to deploy applications in the cloud.Production support for MQ/Middleware in traditional datacenter and AWS environments.Help drive projects and bringing them to a successful conclusion.Identify risks and issues in a timely manner and appropriately mitigate or escalate to manager and the support teams.Work both independently and collaboratively to solve problems and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.Work within and across agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community.Required Skills:5 years' experience using Ruby, Shell, Python, C, JSON with the ability to pick up any language quickly.3 years' experience with open source products like ActiveMQ and Camel.3 years' experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery using Jenkins, Ansible and Chef.Excellent troubleshooting skills for infrastructure, application, and database errors for performance issues. Must be able to analyze stack traces and pinpoint errors at the code level.5 years' experience with working on Linux, Unix, and Windows Servers (Red Hat, Solaris, and Ubuntu).Professional experience with software development practices.Professional experience with CloudFormation and Liquid Infrastructure (Infrastructure as a service - IaaS).Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong work ethic with positive attitude.Good communication skills.Team playerPreferred Skills:Experience in IBM MQ, Message broker or any Middleware support.Knowledge of System Monitoring – Client BSM, Sitescope, Cloudwatch.Skills in Go, PowerShell, Java highly desirable.Mainframe tech support experience.Please Note: Resume will never be submitted to our direct client company without your prior knowledge and consent to do so.
