AWS Cloud Architect/Engineer – Permanent RoleWe are currently seeking a Cloud Systems Architect/Engineer with a passion for technology, the ability to understand and assess new technologies, a strong technical skill set, and the ability to deploy production-ready solutions, software, and tools for customers. The Cloud Solutions Engineer is a very hands-on individual.Core ResponsibilitiesVendor Management & Project Management-- 60% will be focused hereSupport project engagements, work collaboratively with other team members, communicate effectively, and foster team success.Support the AWS environment- to include: strategy, design, implementation, and automation, as well as production-readiness and documentation activities.Keeping up with the latest and greatest AWS services- EC2, S3, FSx, ElasticSearch, EKSUnderstanding of a front-end JS typescript- React or Angular preferred, but not requiredProduce high-quality technical design, build, and procedure documentation.Be able to jump into troubleshooting efforts when asked and as needed.AWS certification.Required SkillsStrong understanding of core AWS services and industry-proven design patternsBackground in pharmaceutical development environmentsGxP Good practices within the pharma environmentExperience with application validation within a pharma environmentFamiliarity with React or Angular.Strong experience with CI/CD environments.Proven ability to document, promote, and present your work to other teams and to customers.Willingness and ability to collaborate across internal practices and with other team members.Ability to work within an organized and structured delivery-centric team.Ability to translate customer requirements and needs into proven design patterns.Experience with large enterprise applications.Strong communication skills- versatile in managing multiple stakeholders, working with SaaS, McKinsey and other vendors and technical teamsAgile experienceRequired ExperiencePrior Pharma experience5+ years working or consulting directly on cloud based enterprise solutions.5+ years leveraging AWS platform services in a hands-on capacity.Bachelor's Degree required, or additional 5 years of relevant Information Technology experience accepted in lieu of degree.Skilled with GxP- Good PracticeExperience with whole system ValidationThis role is 60% communication and 40% technical work.Nice to Have(SDLC) Software Development LifecycleEqual Opportunity StatementBigRio is an equal-opportunity employer.
