Sr SQL DBA – Hybrid Cloud EnvironmentChicago, IL – hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in the loop, 2 days WFHSummaryWe're looking for a dynamic SQL DBA to work in a hybrid-cloud environment, owning various data-related initiatives such as code deployments, configuration updates, performance monitoring, security enhancements, troubleshooting, and backup/recovery services for cloud. Our tech stack includes SQL Server (on-prem), Azure SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Factory. You'll be working with various IT teams and business units to drive value through data, throughout our ecosystem.What You'll Be DoingMaintain operations of databases and DBMSsCode deployments that follow change management processesReview and execute policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management including error log review and database backupsAssist in general system administrator of legacy and cloud resources which interact with database systemsImplement and maintain database securityManage and document production and non-production databases to policies and standardsStrengthen data management organizationFollow and develop data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing systemOptimize database access and allocate resources to align configuration, performance, and costSkills We're Seeking4+ years of experience as a SQL DBAAt least 2 years of experience with Azure SQL, and working in cloud environmentsBiggest nice to haves: Snowflake and/or DatabricksOther nice to haves: Azure Data Factory and/or Azure DevOps
