About the position
The Netskope Solutions Engineer will play a key role in supporting customers and partners, providing feedback to product and network support teams, and traveling extensively within the region to support engagements. This position offers a large opportunity to influence a leading cloud security company.
Responsibilities
- Exceed sales targets.
- Articulate the high‑level benefits of Netskope's architecture to senior security personnel and executives.
- Construct best practices for presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concept/value exercises as part of an overall win strategy.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers and partners, resolving satisfaction issues and escalating when necessary.
- Understand customer needs and position our product as the best solution that addresses those requirements and provides business value.
- Present the Netskope cloud security solution to prospective customers.
- Create and deliver product demonstrations.
- Gather customer technical requirements.
- Participate in trade shows as needed.
- Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate between them.
- Create evaluation test plans with customers and partners, managing the evaluation process to a successful conclusion.
- Lead proof‑of‑concepts (POCs).
- Present at conferences and seminars.
- Respond effectively to RFIs and RFPs.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions/System Engineer with a proven track record presenting technical information at the executive or architect level.
- Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking to both internal and external executive audiences.
- Ability to scale from whiteboard to working with security architects and influencing CISOs.
- Love and passion for helping customers and delivering satisfaction even when faced with difficult customers.
- Hands‑on experience installing, configuring, and administering Linux, macOS, and Windows systems.
- Proficiency with mobile device technologies (MDM/MAM) and operating systems such as Android and iOS.
- Knowledge of certificates, key management systems, HSM, and related protocols.
- Proven hands‑on experience with information‑security solutions such as web proxy, NGFW, security gateways, remote‑access VPN, site‑to‑site VPN, SAML/SSO, DLP, and data‑security technologies; ability to write regex expressions.
- Experience with cloud identity providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and SD‑WAN deployments and integrations.
- Experience with Active Directory services including ADFS and Azure AD.
- Experience with public‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of the broader threat landscape and ability to distill technology trends and explain complex behaviors simply.
- Travel within the region. Experience selling cloud‑based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
