Sr. Solutions ArchitectThis Sr. Solutions Architect role will partner broadly across our business, represent technology opportunities and concerns during strategy discussions, and architect solutions in our Corporate and Enterprise business domains.
Effective communications, a positive attitude, and a proven track record of serving in a senior technical leadership role are key qualifications. As a member of the Client's Architecture Team, you will report to the Head of Architecture and contribute to our growing library of enterprise development standards, patterns, and emerging technology roadmaps. We're looking for an inquisitive individual with a passion for continuous improvement, quality, and drive to follow-through.Key Responsibilities: Solution Delivery:Collaborate with Corporate and Enterprise Application Domain Heads to manage the application portfolio and roadmaps.Provide architectural oversight and direction to multiple scrum teams.Ensure solutions satisfy business requirements and are of the highest possible quality.Develop project deliverables, proofs-of-concept, and pilot new technologies.Serve as the primary escalation point for any project technical issue or challenge.Communicate effectively, and with an appropriate level of detail, to all levels of the organization.Identify and manage implementation risk.Ensure delivered solutions are monitored, have a support plan, and adequate business controls.Application Architecture, Governance, & Strategy:Contribute to the definition and adoption of enterprise reference architectures and development standards.Review and approve all solution architectures within the Corporate and Enterprise business domains.Maintain a solid partnership with business leaders and provide strategic technical leadership.Job Requirements:Master's degree, preferred in Computer Science; or relevant work experience.Minimum of 10 years of application development experience with progressive responsibilities.Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed, heavily outsourced organization through a combination of influence, partnership, and authorityHands-on knowledge of current technology standards/trends coupled with a desire to continually expand personal knowledge/skillsDomain knowledge of the Insurance Industry (preferably L&A), as well as the technologies and solutions relevant to this industry, is desiredAbility and interest in mentoring technical staff and raising our collective technical competenciesAbility to manage change and cope with complex and ambiguous situationsAbility to establish and maintain relationships with other business and technology leadersStrong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to tailor communication to all levels of an organizationOpen-minded with proven ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environmentExperience identifying, defining and implementing technical design/coding standardsDesired Skills :Hyland OnBase, Tech Debt Management, Enterprise Integration Architecture, Microservice Design, Responsive Web Design (AngularJS), Java/.NET, Azure, API Management, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Ansible), SSO (OpenID Connect, SAML)Founded in 2007, InterSources Inc is a Small Business Enterprise, Minority Business Enterprise & Women-Owned Small Business certified Company specializing in providing IT Consulting, IT Staffing Solutions, and Software solutions.
