The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation, performance testing, and test architecture design. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure the delivery of high quality software products.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks and test cases for various applications.Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and identify testing requirements.Conduct performance testing and analysis to ensure application scalability and reliability.Lead the testing efforts in Agile/Scrum teams, ensuring timely delivery of quality software.Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing and automation.Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.Document test plans, test cases, and test results, and report on testing progress and outcomes.Mandatory Skills:Strong experience as an SDET or Test Architect with a proven track record in software testing.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar).Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).Knowledge of security testing practices.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).Experience in mobile application testing.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on SDET/Test Architect roles.Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.If you are passionate about software quality and have the required skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas.
