The DG team focuses on identifying and protecting IP and PII data. This DG cyber program utilizes two applications, Stealthbits for on-prem assets and Securitiai for cloud environments.

Both applications analyze unstructured data for File System Attributes (FSA). Both applications aid in the identification of IP and PII. Both applications have the ability to look for keywords within a multitude of file formats. Their configurations and output are key components to this Intermediate Storage Professionals role and deliverables.

This role will report to the Sr Staff Cyber Security Operation Manager for Data Governance. It is expected that this resource will interface & collaborate with Sr Staff Cyber Security DLPs, GDPR Leads, Solution Architects, Database Admins, Engineering Storage, Export Control leads, Divestiture leads, Data Migration PMs, Tableau SMEs, storage asset owners and Client enterprise support staffs for all Client Power Portfolio enterprises.This resource will become skilled in identifying and protecting Intellectual Property (IP) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) through analysis obtained from the Stealthbits and Securitiai software modules. This role will aid in builds, configurations, patching, system tuning, data qualification, and data delivery/presentation info into Smartsheet and Tableau formats. This resource will remediate DLP vulnerabilities discovered.

This position requires problem solving, collaboration, data analysis and execution in tight timelines.Scope:This resource is intended to have sufficient skills and proven experiences that exemplify adaptability and the willingness to learn. This resource must equate to someone having the willingness to be mentored by senior professionals in areas of inexperience. Whether experienced or inexperienced, this resource will still be expected to add immediate support to the Client Power Data Governance Security team in five areas:Primary: Secures and eliminates open access to unstructured data storage that exposes IP and PII (aka Open Shares)Secondary: Aids in configuring Activity Monitors for all unstructured data hardware platformsMinor: Aids in the process of procuring access for application scans across all varieties of infrastructure storage platformsGeneral: Aids in optimizing Client Power storage infrastructure for cost savings, proper billing, and compliant configurations for Obsolete Data removal, Divestitures and Joint Venture initiativesMiscellaneous: Provide operational support, troubleshooting and maintenance on existing system integrationsActivities/Task:Primary:Identifies Open SharesIdentifies and or assigns proper ownership of Open Share dataRemediates Orphan shares by defining proper ownership of dataWorks with Client teams on securing Open Shares by creating and/or implementing compliant security groups within ServiceNowDocuments remediation
