Software Developer (SAS)Location: Dallas, TX (5 days onsite)Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in SAS to join our dynamic team at Client. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAS programming and its applications in data analysis and reporting.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software applications using SAS and other programming languages as needed.Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Implement data analysis and reporting solutions using SAS to support business objectives.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring timely resolution.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software development and SAS.Document software designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.Participate in project planning and estimation activities.Mandatory Skills:Strong proficiency in SAS programming and data manipulation.Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.Solid understanding of database management and SQL.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.Experience with data visualization tools.Knowledge of Agile methodologies.Experience in cloud computing platforms.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-7 years of relevant experience in software development.Proven experience with SAS programming in a professional setting.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.The pay range for this role is ***k - ***k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
