The person will be setting up a Toradex distribution of Embedded Linux on a platform based on a NXP's i.MX 8M computer module.The engineer will be developing device drivers for a variety of analog sensors and creating/updating communication drivers (CAN, BlueTooth, Wifi).In addition, the candidate will be supporting the generation of avionics applications using Dockers and containers technology.Job Requirements:Implementing a Toradex Embedded Linux Distribution: This involves setting up the distribution on a platform powered by an NXP i.MX 8M computer module.Developing and Enhancing Device Drivers: You will develop new device drivers for various analog sensors and update existing communication drivers, including CAN, Bluetooth, and WiFi functionalities.Supporting Avionics Application Development: The role requires supporting the creation and maintenance of avionic applications utilizing Docker and container technologies.Desired Skills & Experience:Familiarity with Toradex computer module and Linux distribution is a big advantage.Experience in Avionics environment (DO-178B/C).
