Senior Software EngineerIndependently creates API-based applications from concept to finished product with a cloud-first emphasis using strong knowledge of general programming languages, automation frameworks, and deployment methodologies. Works in a collaborative environment to build and deploy effective and efficient applications with well-tested code.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new automations and applications for various internal Secure Software. Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) initiatives and integrate with existing systems such as Service Now, OneTrust, and others through APIs.Enhance and troubleshoot existing automation for static and dynamic scanning of software for security vulnerabilities.Move existing automations to AWS cloud.Develop workflows using API integrations.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequired:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience4+ years of experience in software development and relational database2 years in IT automation and DevOpsPreferred:Master’s degree and/or LOMA certificationSKILLS AND ABILITIESRequired:Solid knowledge of Continuous Integration environments such as JenkinsFull stack developer capabilities including knowledge of the following techniques: Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Pair ProgrammingTools such as React.js, Node.js, Jest, Docker, AWS services, and Jenkinsfiles.Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
