Sr. Quality EngineerSchneider Electric has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Quality Engineer position at our facility. In this role, the individual will have the responsibility of planning, developing, and executing a diverse range of quality improvement projects and programs, leveraging extensive knowledge of quality and manufacturing processes, and leading a team of Quality Technicians.What will you do?Supervise a team of Quality TechniciansMonitor and report key quality metrics for product linesManage quality-related production line disruption and alertsExecute root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for product and process defects including customer complaintsLead PFMEA activities for product lines and ensure Process Control Plans are appliedLead and participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, SPS, Kaizen, and Six Sigma projectsLead implementation of new digital quality toolsAssist in maintaining and improving a quality system based on ISO9000 standards and conduct internal auditsWhat qualifications will make you successful?Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferredStrong quality, industrial and/or manufacturing engineering backgroundExperience with 8D problem solving methodology and tool utilization (5 Why, fishbone/Ishikawa, etc.)Supervisor skills preferredApplication of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methodsExperience with 5S, Kaizen, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process flow mappingExperience with process auditing and knowledge of ISO standardsStrong Analytical skills utilizing Excel, etc.Let us learn about you!
