nYou will be the Quality Engineer Sr. for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for delivering world‑class quality assurance support to the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) circuit‑card assembly line.
nWhat You Will Be Doing
nAs the Quality Engineer Sr. you will be responsible for driving end‑to‑end quality initiatives that keep our hardware production on schedule and compliant.
nYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Chairing Material Review Boards and facilitating Corrective Action Boards.

Providing inspection and test support, and managing disposition of non‑conforming material.

Preparing and executing First Article Inspections (FAIs), Process Line Verifications (PLVs) and Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs).
n n
Effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.

Conducting Hardware Quality Assessments (HQAs) and Program Status Reviews (PSRs).

Supporting internal and external audits while driving continuous process improvements.
n n
Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues. This may require the willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise.

nBasic Qualifications:
nSTEM Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an with 5 years of professional experience, 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree, or equivalent combined education/experience.
nAbility to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products (electronic assemblies).
nKnowledge of Configuration Management and control processes.
nAbility to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
nMust be able to pass visual acuity and color perception exam
nAbility to obtain a secret security clearance
nDesired Skills:
nProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
nDesired skills :
nLean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
nDemonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex.
nQuality Engineering or Supplier Quality experience as well as experience with developing and reviewing Quality Standards, methods, work instructional and procedures for inspection.
nStrong understanding in AS9100, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and/or NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix 50.
nIPC 610/620 and/or J-STD-001 certification
nExperience with control and disposition of nonconforming material.
nProject Management, Leadership and Delegation Abilities with strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
nAbility to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
nKnowledge and understanding of critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
nAudit, Process Line Verification and/or Hardware Quality Assessment experience.
nStrong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
nSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
