Sr. Project Manager/ Team LeaderAre we the road to your future?We are currently searching for a motivated and experienced Sr. Project Manager/ Team Leader who manages projects and can lead a design team in El Paso, TX.This is an exciting opportunity to help continue to expand our services across the Texas Region and manage the operations of the Texas Engineering staff and win/manage projects. This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, business development, and client contact.
Additional activities include managing the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively involved in design issues and troubleshooting.What You'll Be Doing:Principal in Charge for all engineering design aspects of our El Paso office (marketing and operations)Be a practice builder – growing services, clients, and geographyServe as the lead with key client and contract managementRecruit, develop and retain El Paso staffManage transportation projects to meet financial and technical requirementsWriting proposalsParticipating and/or leading interviewsPerforming contract negotiationsProject work planningSupervising the execution of workPrepare and deliver technical presentationsParticipate in marketing and business developmentWhat You Need To Have:B.S. in Civil engineering from ABET accredited engineering programLicensed Texas P.E.15+ years of progressive transportation/roadway, municipal, an/or water/wastewater experience5+ years of experience in management of engineering and support staffMust be proficient with OpenRoads DesignerThe ability to manage AND assist in the production of design deliverablesExperience working with TxDOT and the El Paso areaAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
