Sr Project Manager EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of critical initiatives within the Connected Living Solutions (CLS) Business Unit. This strategic role encompasses three key areas: managing AI/ML application development and deployment, coordinating product certification programs and supporting technical leaders in improving relationships with external certification agencies, and driving corporate-driven and BU independent special engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, delivering high-impact solutions that advance our engineering capabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive organizational excellence.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance innovation, compliance, and operational improvement while managing change across the organization.Key Responsibilities:AI Application Portfolio Management (40%)Lead end-to-end project management for AI/ML application development, deployment, and maintenance within CLS BUDevelop and maintain comprehensive roadmaps for AI initiatives aligned with business objectives and engineering prioritiesCoordinate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to define project scope, requirements, and success criteriaDevelop simple no-code or low-code AI solutions and LLM agent tools to address engineering workflows and automation needsMonitor AI application performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiativesManage resource allocation, budgets, and timelines across multiple concurrent AI projectsFacilitate stakeholder engagement and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadershipProduct Certification Project Management (30%)Facilitate product certification projects across various industry standards (UL, CSA, VDE, etc.), coordinating between internal & external teams to drive for on-time and on-cost product certificationsCoordinate and support CLS BU certification technical leaders in driving process improvements and strengthening relationships with external certification agenciesSpecial Engineering Initiatives (30%)Lead corporate-driven and BU independent strategic engineering initiatives and improvement projects within the CLS engineering organizationManage change management processes for new tools, methodologies, or process improvementsCoordinate innovation pilots, proof-of-concept projects, and retrospectivesDrive adoption of best practices in project management and engineering processesJob Requirements:Evaluating project engineering designs and tracking project completion within budget and scheduling constraints. Reviewing reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address execution problems. Participating in the development of project schedules, work plans, technical estimates, and design documents.

Monitoring project health, safety and integrity through compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.What Your Background Should Look Like:Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fieldExperience: o 3-5 years of project management experience in engineering or technology environments o 2+ years managing AI/ML projects or data-driven technology initiatives o Proven experience with product certification processes (UL, CSA, IEC, or similar) o Demonstrated experience in change management, including planning, execution, and adoption of organizational changesCertifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certificationTechnical Knowledge: o Understanding of AI/ML concepts, applications, and deployment methodologies o Familiarity with product compliance and certification requirements o Knowledge of engineering development processes and product lifecycle managementPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the connector, sensor, or electronics manufacturing industryCertification in Lean Six Sigma, PROSCI, ADKAR, or other formal change management methodologiesUnderstanding of GenAI applications and LLM integration in enterprise environmentsAbility to develop simple no-code/low-code solutions or work with LLM agent platformsPrevious experience working with certification agencies (UL, TÜV, CSA, etc.) to drive process improvementsCompensation:Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $118,200 - $177,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)Benefits:A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.Important Notice Regarding Recruitment Fraud:TE Connectivity has become aware of fraudulent recruitment activities being conducted by individuals or organizations falsely claiming to represent TE Connectivity.
