Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Project Manager to lead the execution of strategic cybersecurity initiatives across critical control areas
This role will be a long term contract that is 3 days hybrid per week in Downtown Chicago
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global, cross-functional teams (technical and non-technical) to deliver complex cybersecurity programs.
- Delivering highly visible, mission-critical cybersecurity projects and ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including task sequencing, assignments, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years of overall experience, preferably within the Financial Services industry
- 5+ years managing large-scale, high-visibility technology projects
Hands-on experience leading projects in areas such as:
- Vulnerability management
- Security operations (SOC)
- Incident response processes
- Security architecture concepts
- Application security practices
- Cloud security frameworks
