Senior Project Manager – Civil ServicesThe Senior Project Manager – Civil Services plays a key leadership role within the Field Services Division, overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a wide range of civil construction and field service projects. This position is responsible for managing projects from initial customer engagement and estimating through completion, while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.The ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to building strong customer relationships, supporting operational excellence, and driving continued growth within the division. This role works closely with customers, field leadership, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate personnel, equipment, schedules, and resources necessary for successful project execution.In addition to project oversight, the Senior Project Manager will support business development efforts by assisting with estimates, proposals, budgeting, and project planning to help secure future work opportunities. This individual will be expected to identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiencies, and long-term customer support while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.Successful candidates will possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. This position requires a willingness to travel to customer and project sites as needed, including occasional overnight stays, and the flexibility to work extended hours when project demands require it.ResponsibilitiesOversee the review, negotiation, and execution of contractual and legal documents with the company's legal and safety departments, Corporate Management, and the customerLead and direct complex projects for the groupAssist the Civil Services Group Manager with duties related to the groupOrganize, execute, and maintain project records and files within the company's servers and databasesUnderstand and oversee the scope of work and assist with managing projects within the scope of work limitsOversee quoting efforts to include reviewing, approving, and preparing quotes and change ordersCollaborate with other Project Managers to establish and manage project specific goalsManage material and equipment suppliers to support assigned projectsReview and ensure accuracy of time and material tickets, receipts, daily field reports, and other paperwork from field personnelReview, establish, update, and analyze project schedulesReview and analyze project budgets, cost tracking, and budgeted vs actual performance dataWorking ConditionsSit, talk, hear, read, write and typeWalk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and armsLift and/or move up to 35 poundsPerform duties on-site at a variety of industrial and/or commercial locations to include those underground and at various heightsQualifications7+ years' experience with project management in a civil trade setting preferredComprehensive knowledge of and experience in industrial civil industries requiredPreference given to candidates with a degree or certificate in related fields such as Civil, Environmental, Business, Project Management, etc.PMP (Project Manager Professional) Certification preferredKnowledge and experience in a variety of related trades with the ability to lead multi-faceted projectsAbility to troubleshoot on-the-job issues effectively and efficientlyMust possess the knowledge, experience, and ability to make sound business decisionsProficient in organizational skills with a high level of attention to detailDemonstrated ability to perform under pressure and meet budgets and deadlinesPossess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other PC based programsProficient with project management software such as Microsoft Project or ProCoreSupport and BenefitsWE ARE NOW EMPLOYEE OWNEDEmployees are beneficial owners through an ESOP (Employee Stock Option Plan) that works through a qualified retirement plan.
