Senior Project ManagerTri-City Group is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for an immediate opening in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Senior Project Manager will provide overall on-site administrative and technical management on mission-critical construction projects.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Supervising total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed by design, budget, and schedule (includes interfacing with customer representatives, A-E representatives, other contractors, etc.)Planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.)Supervising craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contractProviding technical assistance, e.g. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as requiredInitiating and providing extra work estimating and issuance of change ordersAssuming responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the projectFostering and maintaining good morale and positive relationships with customers, field and/or office personnelParticipating as a team in calling on and selling customers on potential projectPerforming additional assignments per management's directionCompetencies:Ability to problem-solve and multi-taskAttention to DetailCommunication Proficiency (Oral and Written)Consideration and TactCustomer/Client FocusDependability and TrustworthinessMicrosoft Office Suite Proficiency (including MS Project)Organization and Self-MotivationPositive Initiative and JudgmentThis is a full-time position.

The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
