Sr. Project Manager - Capital Renewals

Senior Project ManagerRETS Associates is representing Claremont McKenna College in the search for a Senior Project Manager to get hands-on with a broad portfolio of campus renovation, deferred maintenance, and capital renewal projects at one of the nation's most prestigious liberal arts colleges. This is a role for someone who thrives in the field as much as at their desk — managing projects end-to-end, from scoping and budgeting through permitting, construction, and final closeout. You'll manage multiple projects and be the go-to point of contact for contractors, consultants, architects, and campus stakeholders alike.Core Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of campus renovation and capital renewal projectsDirect project budgets, schedules, contracts, and contractor performance from start to finishCoordinate permitting and inspections with city, county, and state agenciesPrepare RFPs, bid documents, and contract award recommendationsConduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and on-schedule deliveryServe as the day-to-day liaison between the College, vendors, architects, and outside agenciesIdeal Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field5+ years of hands-on construction and project management experienceComfortable managing multiple projects and trades simultaneouslyExperience in higher education or institutional facilities strongly preferredDetail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator at every level of a project team
