By joining our Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to put sustainable energy solutions into practice.Our specialized team provides complete engineering, procurement, and construction new asset and operating asset services in the following areas:Conceptual Design and FEL developmentDetailed Design services within E, Ep, EpCM and EPC delivery methodsEngineering support for existing facilities with modifications and operationsGigawatt scale new generation thru smaller industrial generation applicationsOpportunities for home office and field construction supportKey ResponsibilitiesProject Execution: Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projectsConduct research to develop equipment and material recommendationsManage data and perform complex engineering calculationsDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplinesLead larger production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a projectEstablishes a workplan to be applied to a projectClient Interface: Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projectsCommunicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutionsProvide support for business development or pursuit activitiesManage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervisionTechnical expertise: Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverablesProvide technical leadership for complex Power Generation projectsDrive solutions to achieve project goalsManagement Responsibilities: Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignmentsResponsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinatesPreferred QualificationsP.E.
License highly preferredExperience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services for simple cycle and combined cycle gas turbine projects in the United StatesExperience in engineering management and design of power generation facilities with strong understanding of overall project lifecycleGood communication skills and interest in engaging with Clients to grow relationshipsAdvanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standardsWorking knowledge of procurement process and contract administrationWorking knowledge of the proposal process and developing engineering estimatesMinimum QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering workMinimum of 11 years related work experienceAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationsHolds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessaryWork Environment/Physical DemandsHybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignmentsAbility to utilize audio/videoconferencing software tools for internal/external communicationSitting/standing/computer usage for extended periods of timeTravel to client sitesSalary Plan REG: Registered Engineering Job Grade 017
