About the Role
We are hiring a Project Manager to lead cross-functional remediation projects for a global Medical Devices & Healthcare Products organization. This role focuses on sustaining on-market products and ensuring compliance with EU MDR and international regulatory standards.
You will manage small to medium-scale projects with direct impact on product quality, regulatory compliance, and business continuity while working with globally distributed, multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to remediate on-market medical device products to State-of-the-Art and regulatory standards
- Develop and execute detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams globally
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and cost targets to meet business and quality objectives
- Monitor project progress, manage change control, and address variances using formal change management practices
- Maintain project documentation including RACI charts, metrics, and status reports
- Manage vendor and partner relationships and track labor, expense, and capital expenditures
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of Project Management experience in a regulated industry
- Strong experience leading cross-functional, global teams
- Applied knowledge of EU MDR and international medical device regulations
- Proven expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and vendor management
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a New Product Development (NPD) or Sustaining Project Manager
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Background in Medical Devices, Life Sciences, or Healthcare products
