Sr. Product Marketing Manager – The Toro Company

Your Opportunity
As Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will drive product strategy and market positioning for residential products across Exmark, Spartan, and Toro brands. You will develop new equipment, improve existing products to meet customer requirements, lead product prioritization and financial analysis, and monitor product life cycles to ensure growth and operational improvement.

Work Location
- Candidate may choose a location in either Bloomington, MN (International Corporate Headquarters) or Ditch Witch Division Headquarters in Perry, OK. Fully remote is not available.
- Typical office environment includes considerations for lighting, temperature, and noise levels.
- Collaborates with key channel partners and internal teams across marketing, retail, sales, engineering, and manufacturing.
- Travel: Approximately 25% domesticFot could and international.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual and long‑range, multi‑generational product roadmap for residential offerings.
- Obtain approval for long‑range vision, goals and strategies for Product Management.
- Develop business modeling for different customer types.
- Execute Voice of the Customer research to define capabilities and long‑term competitive advantages.
- Continuously evaluate product vitality and competitive threats through field visits and data gathering.
- Recommend and develop innovative new or improved products in conjunction with engineering, manufacturing, sales and other key departments.
- Maintain methods to determine customer satisfaction on new/current products and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Monitor market share, profitability and competitive positioning of product lines.
- Collaborate across teams to align related products, engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor quality levels of products and implement improvement methods to reduce warranty issues.
- Develop and execute competitive benchmarking activities to maintain leadership.
- Support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for product lifecycle decisions.
- Investigate and recommend new business and cost‑reduction opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong cooperation between departments, supporting functions and customers.
- Represent the Division/Company at trade and civic functions as appropriate.

What Do You Need?
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business or engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in the outdoor power equipment industry.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated leadership for product and team management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, initiative and team player.
- Ability to build cross‑functional relationships with engineering, sales and customer care.
- Strong customer orientation and experience with Voice of Customer.
- Passion for delivering market‑leading products on time and within scope.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in marketing, business or engineering.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Suite; SAP preferred.
