Sr. Product Manager Informatics, Microbiology

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is looking for a Marketing Product Professional to join the Microbiology Operating Company team based in West Sacramento, CA. The role reports to the Manager, Global Innovation and Product Management for Microbiology and will be part of the Global Marketing team.

In This Role

• Participate in team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
• Work closely with product managers responsible for other Microbiology product portfolios and business teams to create and maintain product enhancement backlog aligned to the product roadmap according to business value/ROI.
• Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management.
• Utilize Danaher Business Systems (DBS) and work in multi-functional teams to enhance and support existing portfolio.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or Business, or related field with 9+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience in product development and product line management of instruments and software.
• Understanding of business value related to software features and functions.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Software development experience.
• Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology.
• Microbiology (Clinical Diagnostics and Clinical Microbiology).
• Experience in a Healthcare regulated Product Development and Sales environment, e.g., FDA, IVD.

Salary range: $127,500 - $160,000. This range reflects the compensation for this role at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.

This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, and paid time off, as well as 401(k) retirement savings.
