Sr. Product Manager – Cloud Volumes ONTAP

Requirements

• We require 10+ years of product management experience in B2B, enterprise software, cloud, or storage technology environments.
• We require a bachelors or masters degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
• We require a strong track record of taking technology products from concept through launch and continued improvement.
• We require experience collaborating across engineering, product, GTM, marketing, support, and partner organizations.
• We require hands-on experience with cloud technologies; storage technology experience is a strong advantage.
• We require familiarity with cloud platforms and IaaS/PaaS offerings, especially AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• We require proven ability to define product needs, prioritize effectively, and execute across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
• We require experience leveraging customer insight, product usage analytics, and market intelligence to shape product decisions.
• We require strong understanding of AI-enabled product capabilities, automation, and emerging enterprise software trends.
• We prefer familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and security considerations.
• We require excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• We require the ability to influence cross-functional teams and build alignment without depending solely on formal authority.

Responsibilities

• We drive product strategy and business planning for Cloud Volumes ONTAP using a customer-focused, data-informed approach.
• We own key stages of the product lifecycle, including planning, roadmap creation, and prioritization in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
• We define and rank technical requirements that deliver differentiated value across cloud storage, data management, automation, and operational ease.
• We work directly with major cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud to support integration, partner alignment, and shared success.
• We lead the definition and adoption of AI-powered and automation capabilities that improve usability, intelligence, and operational efficiency.
• We gather and interpret customer feedback, usage trends, and market signals to uncover opportunities, enhance customer experience, and guide roadmap choices.
• We track industry movement, competitive activity, and adjacent technologies to strengthen product positioning and identify future growth areas.
• We partner with GTM, product marketing, support, and field teams to ensure strong positioning, launch readiness, and customer adoption.
• We create clear product documentation and contribute to launch assets, messaging, and internal enablement.
• We establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate adoption, customer value, and business performance.
• We lead cross-functional collaboration to align stakeholders, manage trade-offs, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
• We act as a strong internal champion for customer needs, product clarity, and execution excellence.
