Travel is our inspiration, the beach is our home.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Senior Product Developer will play a critical role within the Product team by leading the development and sourcing of products from concept through production. This role requires strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking to deliver high-quality products that meet brand alignment, customer needs, business goals and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with ALOHA Collection founders, VP of Product and the Creative team to bring commercially successful, consumer-right products to market on time and within margin targets.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead end-to-end product development, from ideation and feasibility through design, testing, launch, and post-launch optimizationExecute direction given by Founders, VP of Product and Sr Director of Merchandising to expand product line and push the brand forwardMentor and guide product developers and contribute to best practices across the product development team with a positive and solution focused mindsetManage product development timelines, milestones, and risks to ensure on-time delivery of samples and production and have the ability to pivot and problem solve when neededAbility to manage tight timelines and work with factories to prioritize in order to stay on calendarCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Design/Creative and Supply ChainOversee prototyping, testing, validation, and iteration of products to ensure performance, quality, and usability standardsProvide Operations teams with info needed for compliance and relevant regulatory, safety, and quality standardsSupport cost optimization, scalability, and manufacturability without compromising product qualityManage Costing for all categories/New Product and work closely with VP of Product to ensure alignmentEXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR5–8+ years of product development experience (accessories, soft goods, apparel, or consumer goods preferred)Bachelor's degree in Design, Product Development, Merchandising, International Business, or related fieldDemonstrated success in leading and formally mentoring product developers.Strong experience creating and managing Tech Packs (specs, BOMs, trim sheets) and tracking WIP reportsDeep understanding of materials, construction, sourcing, factory development cycles, and the end-to-end product lifecycle (concept to shipping)Ability to manage multiple categories and collections simultaneously while meeting deadlinesExperienced in daily communication with overseas partners; able to travel internationally as neededProficient in Google Workspace, Adobe Illustrator, Slack, and Excel (sketching ability a plus)WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLEDetail oriented with a strong work ethic with superior organizational skillsStrong cross-functional communication, problem-solving, and price-point management skillsHighly detail-oriented, persistent, and solutions-drivenThrives in fast-paced, evolving environmentsMaintains a positive, team-oriented mindsetPassion for the industry; knowledge of Hawaiian culture is a plusWHAT WE OFFERFrom the start, our founders, Heather and Rachael, envisioned a company culture that was dynamic, intentional and sustainable.
