Westport's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.Schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain all paint shop processes, including chemical systems, circulation, and lab functionsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement long-term solutionsSupport production goals across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and moraleDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiencyDevelop and maintain standard work for paint and production processesSupport new product launches and process integrationPartner with maintenance, engineering, and vendors to improve performance and reduce costsUse data to make informed operational decisions and identify improvement opportunitiesPromote a strong team environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and problem-solvingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related experienceExperience in automotive, paint systems, or manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of production processes and continuous improvement methodsAbility to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organizationProven ability to lead, coach, and develop employeesKnowledge of quality systems, process flows, and product launchesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeFlexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed
