Principal Systems Engineer – RF Signal Processing, you will collaborate in the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of radio frequency (RF) algorithms and models. Used across our products and new business initiatives, signal processing algorithms extract and exploit sensor signals to be used for calibrating and denoising raw sensor data; detecting, acquiring, tracking, and classifying objects of interest; and sensor fusion. This is an onsite position located in Tucson, AZ.What You Will DoYou will act as a recognized signal processing subject matter expert, technical leader, and/or functional leader responsible for the budget, schedule, development, execution, and completion of complex program objectives.You will use and modify simulations for the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of RF algorithms and models.You will participate in production, engineering lab, field test environments to test, verify, and validate RF models and signal processing algorithm performance in accordance with requirements.You will collaborate in all development phases from program start-up to live-fire testing, making improvements to processes and providing signal processing expertise in design reviews, peer reviews, and technical briefings to internal and external customers.You will oversee a technical team, mentor engineers, and/or manage an engineering project.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant prior experienceSignal processing experience in the RF domainExperience with the C programming language, or Object-Oriented Programming experience with the C++, C#, or Java programming languagesExperience with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing, and optimizationExperience managing or leading others in a technical and/or functional capacity within an engineering environmentAbility to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S.
