Sr. Pricing AnalystSummary The Sr. Pricing Analyst prepares various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts works on large/complex proposals. One has a strong understanding of estimating & pricing principles and demonstrates application through hands-on experience. In this role, the Sr.

Pricing Analyst leads and supports reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management.Position ResponsibilitiesReviews Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policyProvides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and presents cost estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agenciesPrepares and validates cost estimates for sustainment, engineering and manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts and vendor data, parts & equipmentIdentifies cost and price risks and applies to estimates where applicableSupports DCAA audits and assists with contract negotiations as necessary and liaises between operations and other support organizations for estimating instructions and pricingPerforms analysis of cost estimates identifying inconsistencies and issues. Develops different cost estimation projects and procedures for final approval by managementWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsDetermines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)Bachelor's degree in related discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceMinimum 8 – 12 years of related experience in Estimating and/or FinanceExperienced in and knowledge of MS Office Suite (intermediate Excel skills required)Requires strong project management skills including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet proposal milestonesIs working-group oriented and possess the following: (1) the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret complex data and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems; (2) analytical, verbal and written communication skills; (3) strong computer skillsOther Qualifications & Desired CompetenciesAdvanced degree is preferredDemonstrates competency in effective team leadership and driving projectsAble to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of dutiesDisplays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectivesTakes ownership and responsibility for current and past work productsIs committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the companyDemonstrates effective problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.Consistently demonstrates teamwork, collaboration and puts the success of the team above one's own interestsPhysical DemandsAbility to work in an office environment (Constant)Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Constant)Clearance LevelNo ClearanceThe salary range for this role is:$111,000 - $169,250AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.ITAR Requirement:This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and/or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
