Sr Pharm Technician

As a pharmacy technician in this role, you will be responsible for engaging with patients through phone calls, dispensing unit doses of specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies. You will work as part of a team to efficiently address and respond to all pharmacy needs.

Responsibilities

• Call patients and answer phones to provide necessary pharmacy services.
• Dispense unit doses of specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies.
• Collaborate with the team to triage and respond to all pharmacy needs promptly.

Essential Skills

• Pharmacy experience, including IV and infusion techniques.
• Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Active and unrestricted MN Pharm Tech License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or home infusion settings is preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and solve high-stakes problems.
• Strong multitasking and workload prioritization skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Work Environment

You will work an 8-hour shift between 8 AM and 5 PM. The team consists of 6 pharmacists, 6 pharmacy technicians, and 1 support staff member. The dress code is business appropriate casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
