Payroll ProcessorHandles end-to-end payroll processing, and related accounting tasks reporting to the Controller at our growing company. Ensures accurate wage calculations, tax compliance, and benefit reconciliations. Collaborates with HR, supports audits, maintains confidential records, and manages payroll system issues.Responsibilities:Process payroll (Union / Non-Union) accurately and on timeAdds new-hire staff information into payroll systemEnsure compliance with federal and state payroll lawsCoordinate payroll changes (hires, terminations, salary adjustments)Prepare and reconcile payroll-related journal entries and reportsRespond to employee payroll inquiriesManage year-end reporting (W-2s) and tax filingsSupport payroll audits and resolve discrepanciesCollaborate with HR and external vendorsMaintain strict confidentiality of employee dataKey Requirements:Construction payroll (Union / Non-Union) preferred5+ years payroll experience preferredKnowledge of payroll laws & system conversionsStrong attention to detail and confidentialitySalary: $72-97k depending on experienceBenefits: Medical insurance, 401k match, bonus, vacation etc.
